About lnk.boo
lnk.boo started as LinkBun back in 2021. A side project with a simple idea: give creators a single link that looks as good as the things they create.
It worked. Over 1,000 creators signed up. Their pages drove 70,000+ link clicks. For a link page builder with no marketing budget, that felt like validation enough.
But the code aged. The page layouts were functional, not beautiful. The stack had outgrown itself. So we rebuilt it.
The rebuild
Not an iteration. A full rewrite. New database, new frontend, new everything. The goal: ship the product LinkBun should have been from the start.
Bento grid layouts, so your page isn't just a column of rectangles. Ten-plus themes that lean dark (92% of our users chose dark mode, so we stopped pretending anyone wanted light). Rich content blocks beyond links: images, quotes, stat counters, social profiles, maps, headings.
Every existing URL carried over. If you had a page at lnk.boo/yourname, it still works.
$1.99, once
Linktree charges $15/month. That's $180/year for a page with your links on it. We couldn't figure out how to justify that math, so we didn't try.
lnk.boo costs $1.99, once. Every feature, every theme, no branding on your page. No annual renewal, no "your plan is expiring" emails.
We can do this because we're small. No office, no investor expecting 10x returns. The product pays for its own hosting. That's the whole business model.
Independent
No investors. No advisory board. No growth KPIs. A small team that thinks link pages shouldn't cost $15/month and shouldn't look the same as everyone else's.
When something breaks, we fix it. When a feature makes sense, we build it. When it doesn't, we skip it. (That's why there's no Spotify embed. Seven people used it.)
